Learn how to use a tufting gun to make your own rug!
During this one-day workshop, you will create a rug of approximately 20 by 20 inches, benefiting from personalized support. We only accept 3 persons, in order to make time for one-on-one advice !

If you are a group of 2/3 people, you can contact me with your joint availability (for weekend days only) so that we can plan a workshop together.
Times: The workshop takes place from 11 am to 5 pm, including a lunch break.
Language : The class can be given in french, english, or both depending on the students.
Location: The workshop takes place in a studio shared with other artists at 5550 rue Fullum, in Montreal.
All the material is provided: Tufting gun, canvas, yarn, scissors, trimmer, projector, punch needle.
Level: Beginners very much welcome ! Please be 16+ years old, or come with an adult. For a very first experience, a simple design is recommended : Thick lines, no gradient, 3-4 colors.
Design: Bring your own design :) It can be traced before your arrival if sent in advance.
Size: The canvas that participants are working on is 27 by 27 inches. That space is used to practice with the gun and to make an approximately 20 by 20 inches rug in the shape of your choice.
Finishes: The glue applied to the back of the rugs to hold its pile in place takes 24 hours to dry. It is therefore not possible to leave with your finished piece at the end of the workshop day. The finishing steps (cutting the rug to shape, applying a fabric to the back, etc.) will be realized out within 2 weeks. Following which the participants receive an invitation to come and collect their creations.
Refund Policy
The workshop is limited to 3 participants. In case of lack of registrations (only one person), the workshop will be cancelled. If so, registrants can choose to be reimbursed or register for a future workshop.
Cancellations: in case of impediment, you can cancel your registration and be reimbursed up to 95% of the price of the workshop up to one week before it is held. And then up to 50% until 48 h before. After this time you will not be able to get a refund.
